The Challenge
Branding Stop had recently launched a new brand, digital presence, and identity. Stop Here, Brand Happy! This simple tag line captured the essence of what it means to work with members of the Branding Stop team and what we are all about. We wanted a product that would highlight our custom capabilities along with featuring our new “icon” that communicates to our audience the essence of our company.
The “pin drop” icon was created and we felt would be well received and even something our clients and prospects alike would enjoy wearing on a fun new product. We needed to develop and design something that featured the new icon and also highlighted what we can do for our clients day in and day out.
Branding Stop Solution
Develop a custom hat, something we do on a regular basis. Hats are our thing! We can have basic hats with our client logos produced within a week, as well as create custom hats over the course of just a few weeks. Creating a custom hat to show our capabilities and allow us to give away something we thought our clients would really dig made sense.
We huddled up and sketched out a few features of the hat that we wanted to create, simply pen and paper and a little brainstorming combined with our knowledge of what types of things can be done with a custom hat, including custom patches on the front and side featuring our new icon and interior taping featuring the branding stop name.
We partnered with our factory and utilized our own in house design capabilities to get an actual rendering that shows exactly how our hat would be produced. After reviewing the rendering of the hat, we gave it a thumbs up and turned the factory loose on producing an actual sample of our new hat, and it came back exactly how we envisioned it. This process is simple and something that can be done over the course of less than two weeks.
